WooCommerce payment failure solution – issues with version 2.1 and {“result”:”failure”,”messages”:” issue

If you’re an avid user of WooCommerce, you may have recently come across an issue like this when going to payment page:

{“result”:”failure”,”messages”:”

Invalid shipping method.

Invalid payment method.

”,”refresh”:”false”,”reload”:”false”}

This is a common issue we’ve dealt with a number of times before very recently.

The most likely culprit is that you’ve upgraded to WooCommerce 2.1, and your Payment Gateway doesn’t support this software.

What you should try first is upgrading the Payment Gateway plugin to the latest version, that supports WooCommerce 2.1, and fingers crossed you should find that resolves it immediately!
